'Mycellium 4 (Violaceus)' by donna davis

Friday, April 3, 2020, 5:30 – 10pm **This projection has been cancelled.** Council will be projecting donna davis’ Mycellium 4 (Violaceus) onto the William Jolly Bridge from 30 March-3 April 2020, 5:30-10pm nightly. Mycellium 4 (Violaceus) by donna davis explores the dynamic and interconnected sphere of nature; reflecting on unseen symbiotic matrices such as tree-fungi relationships. Beneath our feet are a series of complex networks which act like super highways to support life above ground. These matrices known as mycorrhizal connections, are often shared between species for mutual benefit using these pathways to ensure optimum health for both species.
