The Gallery In Me

The Gallery In Me is a free school holiday visual arts program supporting kids aged 9-12 in developing tools to express their ideas, experiences and sense of self.

It offers the Brimbank community an opportunity to ‘hear their voices’ and the kids the experience of being heard.

Over a series of five workshops, kids will experiment with a wide range of art materials to establish personal connections to them, identify which ones they can 'speak' through and build skills.

They will then create artworks that tell us about themselves and their experiences, to be displayed in an exhibition event for the whole community.
