Isaac Regional Council has endorsed the application of the Utility Charges Remission - Extraordinary Circumstances Policy, as adopted on 17 March 2020, in response to the recent water discolouration event in Clermont.
Residents have been granted to receive an annualised 17-day proportional rates remission for Clermont properties which receive water consumption and infrastructure charges for the period between 1 January 2020 to 30 June 2020.
This remission will be applied as a financial adjustment to the property owner’s next bill issued in the 2020-21 financial year.
