Poppy Project Display your poppies this ANZAC DayANZAC Day is important to all of us. So, to honour and remember those who have protected and served our country, and continue to do so, the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre are launching the Poppy Project. They will pay tribute with a display of handmade poppies on the gates of the mine yard, and hope that you will join them by following these simple steps:
The Poppy Project
Make your poppy from found and recycled materials. Display your poppy on the front of your house. For example on your letter box, fence, or in your front window. Honour our servicemen and women this ANZAC Day, April 25th.Need some creative inspiration? The Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre's Facebook Page has some links to help you make your poppies and gather ideas.
