Current works: Water main maintenance works

Water main maintenance works will be carried out across several streets in Blackwater from today (Friday 3 April 2020) to Friday 5 May 2020. Works will be carried out between 10.00 pm and 4.00 am.

Affected households and businesses have been provided advance notice of the works via a letter box drop.

To enable works to occur, sections of water mains must be isolated in order to replace existing assets. A total of six isolations will occur over the 30-day period, with each isolation lasting up to 2.5 hours.

The works are being completed by contract company Goodline.

It is council and the contractor’s priority to minimise the impact of the works on residents.
