Regional Development Australia’s ‘Central West Is Best’ Photo Competition is back in 2020 and this year's theme is ‘Hometown Pride – Icons of the Central West’.
This gives budding photographers the opportunity to showcase the faces, places, culture or nature they think are icons of the Central West in images and words.
To enter, you simply have to submit a photo you believe is an iconic image of the Central West region and explain why you think it is an icon of the Central West.
Entry is free and open to all ages, as long as you live in the Central West. There are two categories, Junior (under-18) and Open (18 and over). There will be a first prize to the value of $300 and runner-up prize to the value of $200 in each category.
Finalists and selected entries will become part of the RDA ‘Central West Is Best Travelling Photographic Exhibition’.
Follow RDA on social media to see if your photo is featured on #FotoFridays
Entries are now open until Friday 8 May at 5pm.
You can contact the RDA Central West office with any queries via email on [email protected]
