Remember, there are only four reasons to leave your home: food and supplies, medical care, exercise, and work or education.
Don’t forget playgrounds, skate parks and outdoor gyms are now closed.
Bayside Beaches remain closed until further notice although walking paths can still be accessed. You are able to use the foreshore area for recreational exercise (surf, swim, bike ride, walk, run, etc.) but congregating is not permitted and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
Life Saving Victoria is advising people not to go swimming at this time. If you choose to go swimming, you do so at your own risk and should be aware that there are currently no “proactive” lifesaving services on Victorian beaches.
Dog beaches are open and normal dog walking restrictions apply however we are urging people to act responsibly.
Fishing, hunting, boating, camping and golfing activities are strongly discouraged based on advice from the Chief Health Officer.
