Message from the Mayor

Please stay at home this Easter to ensure we don’t undo everything we have achieved thus far with COVID – 19 deterrence.

We have been most fortunate in our Lithgow LGA so far with minimal confirmed cases of COVID – 19 and we need to keep this discipline to break the back of the virus that has such a devastating effect on our community.

It will be difficult, but it needs to be done, and while in Easter Hibernation we can reflect on the sacrifices that our local businesses, unemployed and vulnerable are having to make as we make progress through this event.

On behalf of Council, I wish you a safe and healthy Easter, albeit at a safe social distance.
