Free managing money webinar for event organisers

Many people are using their social isolation time to upskill, and you can too with East Gippsland Shire Council’s free online webinar tomorrow on Managing Your Money: Budgets and Grants for Events.

The webinar will be held Wednesday 15 April from 1-3pm online via Zoom. You do not need to sign-up to Zoom or download an app to take part.

This webinar will suit anyone looking for training or up-skilling in planning and delivery.

If you don’t take the time to work on your event, then your event may never realise its capacity to grow and succeed, and you may be missing out on income and other opportunities to make your event sustainable and stand out. 

An event budget is a detailed forecast of anticipated income and expenditure.

Getting it right is a crucial part of the planning phase of any event.

Sponsorship and funding for events is a key element to getting events off the ground, as they move towards being financially sustainable.

Participants will learn skills to help them create an event budget, manage their event money and build confidence with grant writing and finding event sponsorship.

The webinar will be led by Jodie Willmer of Happy Changemakers.
