Planned Water Main Upgrade: Beames Street Mareeba

Mareeba Shire Council wishes to advise of planned works to upgrade the water main on Beames Street, Mareeba in conjunction with the water main upgrade on Costin Street.
The works will involve installing a pipe via a road crossing from the western side to the eastern side of Beames Street thus securing a reliable water supply for residents.
Works are programmed to commence on Tuesday 21 April 2020 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Minor water outages are expected to occur during this time to enable connection to the existing water main.
Beames Street will be open to local traffic only. In the interest of public safety, please observe all traffic control warning devices.
