Scheme for local businesswomen 20 Apr 2020 10:09 AM -

Lachlan Shire women are being invited to apply for membership to The Seed Scheme, an innovative program helping rural women start an enterprise, launch a big idea or get a business up and running.

Applications are now open and close on 1 May 2020 at 5pm.

Supported by The Rural Woman, The Seed Scheme has injected over $17.5 million into rural economies and is returning enormous social value to communities.

Local businesswoman and Scheme activator Emily Sinderberry said this is a great opportunity for Lachlan Shire women to get their ideas off the ground or to scale up existing operations.

“We need to dream big, push the boundaries and collaborate to exceed goals and maximise growth in our region,” she said.

The scheme offers training, mentoring and community support to give participants clear vision, confidence and access to technology.

Support includes:

●        Weekly live online mentoring and training in business and technology;

●        Development of a local support network;

●        A private social network connecting them to hundreds of rural women nationally; and

●        24/7 access to hundreds of hours of recorded trainings in marketing, sales, financial management, product development, events, social media, mindset and business.
