Your chance to have your story told on the ABC

Are you aged between 12 and 18 years and live in Frankston City? Takeover Melbourne is a new initiative from the ABC looking to share the stories of Melbourne’s young people. The ABC is calling for all high school students (and those outside formal education of an equivalent age) to share a story about their life and submit it to the Takeover Melbourne Competition by Friday 26 June 2020.

This is a great opportunity for you to explore events, situations and circumstances in your life that have helped to shape who you are, told through your unique perspective. Entries must be a true story about an aspect of your life and can be any format: text, video or audio. Winners will have a chance to work with ABC producers to have their story featured on the ABC and to share their experiences and passions with the rest of Melbourne.
