Fifield water

As announced last week, due to the recent rainfall, local dams in Fifield have been replenished. Fifield’s town water supply has been switched back to the usual water source, supplied by Council’s dams.

Council would like to remind residents that the water supplied to Fifield is non-potable. This water is only suitable for use where there is no human contact such as gardening, evaporative coolers, flushing toilets, etc.

Residents are responsible for sourcing potable water from other water supplies for essential needs such as drinking, cooking, washing food, cleaning teeth, etc.
