Council's Open Space Strategy has identified this open space at 90 Gove Street in Springvale as a pocket park.
The purpose of a pocket park is to create shade, seating and plantings for local residents'.
Council has prepared a concept proposal for what this pocket park could become.
Creating clear views into the park from the street and a selection of seating areas has been reflected in the plans. Existing trees have been retained where possible, and new trees have been added.
Have Your SayCouncil is seeking local residents' feedback on the proposed design ideas. Any thoughts or suggestions will assist in shaping the future design of this pocket park.
