Interruption to Service – Water supply Lidsdale and Marrangaroo

Council wishes to advise that the water supply in the areas of Lidsdale and Marrangaroo may be affected whilst emergency works are undertaken on the Fish River Water Supply pipeline in Wallerawang. Residents of Marrangaroo may experience reduced water pressure or no water. Service to the area of Lidsdale should not be affected at this stage but residents may experience issues later this afternoon. Council will endeavor to keep residents informed through the period of the repair.

Upon return of normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. WaterNSW and Council will endeavour to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run the first tap that services their property to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed before running internal taps. If you continue to experience issues of dirty water, please contact Council.
