Resurfacing the Hurlingham Park public sports court kicks off this week to remove tripping hazards and ensure the space is safe for play. The sports court is mostly used to shoot basketball hoops and practise tennis against the wall. The installation of a new netball goal will further improve sports practise options for locals. New line-marking is also part of the refurbishment project. The court will be closed during works, which are expected to complete in mid-May. However, Council reminds people that use of the court when it reopens is only for essential exercise in family groups or pairs until stage 3 Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions are lifted.
