Council is pleased to provide this brief update on the Penguin Foreshore Remediation project.
Following the public consultation and forums held in early 2019, the concept proposal was modified to incorporate the suggestions and feedback provided from the community.
The changes have been reviewed by the engineering team and the modified design has now been submitted for Development Approval, in order to obtain a planning permit.
As part of the DA process, the plans and supporting information are now available for viewing – online at the Council’s website, and at the Council offices in Ulverstone.
Public submissions to the Development Application may be made until Monday 4 May 2020 and we welcome the community’s participation in the process.
This project is possible through the funding support of the Commonwealth Government under the Community Development Grants Program.
