Trace your Family Tree this ANZAC weekend What want to learn more about your family history?

For a limited time only, Big Sky Libraries members can access Ancestry for free beyond Library walls from the comfort of their homes.

Big Sky Library Manager Sally Walters has said, “there is no better time to start tracing your family tree!”

“On a weekend characterised by a reflection on our history, it is the perfect time for library members to trace their family trees and find out more about their ancestors.

“Ancestry Library uses a collection of historical records like birth, marriage and death registries, census and voters lists, military records, school, directories and church histories to help people start their family trees and provide potential answers to missing links”, explained Mrs Walters.

Ancestry is available on the Big Sky Libraries website for members to access at any time – www.bsl.nsw.gov.au through the COLLECTIONS.
