Programs Delivered to your Door!

Following the huge success of the Easter holiday activity packs, Moree Community Library has decided to deliver their term 2 programs through a series of program packs which will be posted to a member on request to be completed at home.

The program packs will be distributed every fortnight throughout ten weeks of term 2, with packs including activity booklets, puzzles, games, craft activities and science experiments.

Big Sky Libraries Manager, Sally Walters, has explained that the popularity of the Easter activity packs has inspired library staff to follow a similar process to deliver their term 2 programs to library members.

“180 activity packs were delivered to senior and junior library members over the Easter break”, explained Mrs Walters.

“The packs provide children, teenagers and adults with activities to complete mostly away from a screen; with all of the new working and learning from home arrangements, we are conscious that our members might want tangible items and activities to complete which keep their hands busy and brains active.

“This term we have a program to suit every age; to receive a pack, adults should email in an expression of interest as soon as possible and they will be added to our mailing list”, concluded Mrs Walters.

Once members have received their program packs, remember to email back a photo of you or your child with their completed work and library membership number to go into the draw to win a $30 Love Local Gift Card!
