Lithgow Mayor Ray Thompson has called on Lithgow Community members to down load the Federal Gov’ts “Covid Safe” app in the continuing fight against the Cvid-19 virus and for those who show the slightest signs of illness to get tested immediately.

“Our NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant has advised that the Lithgow LGA is now a hotspot for testing purposes, and we need to meet this challenge head on as we have been doing so far” said the Mayor.

“Our Lithgow Community has been resilient in the face of the restrictions in place at the moment, and we know from our heritage that we are a tough community, so I believe we can meet this challenge head on and set an example for others to follow in this fight” said Clr Thompson.
