For families to connect, engage, inspire and educate children, Story Box Library is the best place to watch celebrated stories read aloud by your favourite storytellers.
And it has been added to the Big Sky Libraries resource list for members to access for free!
Story Box Library is a platform where various public figures with varying accents and from different cultures read past and present children’s books in recorded videos, providing children with an online story time.
Big Sky Libraries Manager, Sally Walters, is proud to announce the new addition to the growing list of the Library’s online resources.
“Story Box Library is like a story time streaming service for children where a range of sportspeople, musicians, comedians and actors read children picture books,” explained Mrs Walters.
“This is another activity parents can add to their list to entertain children while at home during weekends and over the school holidays!
“Story Box Library has some wonderful videos for children to enjoy; a personal favourite is Noni Hazlehurst reading ‘Noni the Pony’ whilst sitting in a stable alongside Miso the cat.”
Story Box Library is available on the Big Sky Libraries website for members to access at any time – www.bsl.nsw.gov.au through the COLLECTIONS.
