Newsbank is a bustling platform of comprehensive news coverage proving local, regional, national and international perspectives on current issues and events from regional and national media outlets Australia wide.

Until 12 May 2020, Big Sky Libraries is providing Library members with free access to NewsBank enabling them to research news information from Australian newspapers from the comfort of their homes.

Big Sky Libraries staff believe everyone should have unlimited access to news media, free access to NewsBank provides members with a platform where they can access limitless and up-to-date news stories and factual information on the current issues facing the globe.

Through NewsBank, Library members are provided with comprehensive news coverage from all Australian states and territories including local publications to nationwide news sources such as The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian.

NewsBank is available on the Big Sky Libraries website for members to access at any time until 12 May 2020 – www.bsl.nsw.gov.au through COLLECTIONS.

From the eLibrary, choose NewsBank – Australian newspapers which will take you to the NewsBank website. 

Enter your Library card number into the text bar and click ‘log in’.

Community members who are not yet Library members can sign up by calling their local Big Sky Libraries branch.
