Reopening of Fossicking General Permission Areas (GPA's)

In accordance with Queensland Government's Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DRNME) directive 1 May, 2020, the following Fossicking General Permission Areas (GPA’s) are now re-open for public access.

Central Gold Districts

 Black Ridge GPA, Clermont  Town Reserve GPA, Clermont  Museum Reserve GPA, Clermont

Please note; Flat Diggings GPA, Clermont remains closed for stock route use until 16 May 2020.

When considering visiting any of the reopened Fossicking General Permission Areas, please ensure you stay within 50km of your home, practice social distancing, and can only be joined by people you usually live with you, or one other person.

Please remember to adhere to all health and safety directives from Queensland Health.
