​Membership of Northern Midlands Council Local Recycling Committee

Residents and representatives from community interest groups are invited to apply for membership of the Northern Midlands Council Local Recycling Committee.

As a Special Committee of Council, members will be appointed and meet in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding to:

• Provide a focal point for information relating to waste disposal and recycling between the Northern Midlands Council and the community;

• Identify and prioritise achievable local recycling initiatives;

• Consider and provide feedback to the Northern Midlands Council in respect to key strategic recycling issues.

The term of appointment will be until June 2022.

The Memorandum of Understanding and Application form are available from the Council Offices at Longford or can be downloaded from Council’s website www.northernmidlands.tas.gov.au.
