If you're a Mildura Rural City Council Libraries member you can now access up to three hours of free streaming music each day through Freegal.
The new service has been made available while Council's libraries are closed due to COVID-19 and provides a free and convenient way to access literally thousands of songs.
As part of the service, library members can stream three hours each day and download up to three MP3s each week free-of-charge.
Councillor for Arts and Culture Jason Modica said Freegal was yet another way Mildura Rural City Council Libraries was supporting residents through COVID-19 restrictions.
"If you love your music, this is the perfect way to access your favourite artists or songs while staying at home," Cr Modica said.
"Freegal allows you to create your own playlists, search today's top artists, or revisit classic albums, and best of all it's free to use."
To use Freegal, residents will need to be library members and have a PIN number. For those who aren't members, you can register online by visiting www.mildura.vic.gov.au/library
Freegal can be used by downloading the app on your chosen device, or streaming via your computer.
Cr Modica said Freegal was the latest in a suite of free online options Council's library services team has been rolling out in recent weeks following COVID-19 restrictions.
Library members can access a large range of eLibrary apps, educational resources, eBooks and eAudiobooks, all from the comfort of their homes.
