As temperatures rise, there’s no better way to spend a hot Perth afternoon than watching your children enjoy the delights of water play.
And, the recently opened water playground at Claremont Aquatic Centre, is just the place to be. With a 1000 litre tippy bucket and shooting water jets, showers and misters children will be cool and entertained for hours.
“It is wonderful to see the playground in action and so many families enjoying and using the new space. It’s the perfect place for summer family day out and great place for a relaxing and cool afternoon,” Mayor Jock Barker said of the water playground.
The playground design includes palm trees and shady decks for seating for parents and carers to watch little ones in safety and comfort.
Replacing the 47 year old toddler pool, the $750 000 project has been funded by the Town with support from the Australian Government’s Community Sport Infrastructure Grants Program.
Normal entry fees and opening times apply.
