The Wollondilly Animal Shelter recently received a donation of dog coats, blankets, bedding and other animal related items from Rescue Resource NSW.
The staff at the animal shelter were extremely grateful to receive the items, which will be put to good use as the cold weather intensifies.
Mayor Matthew Deeth said, “Council would like to thank Rescue Resource NSW for their donation. It will make a huge different to the comfort of the animals at the shelter this winter.”
Rescue Resource NSW is an organisation that aims to improve the lives of animals, providing much needed supplies to animal shelters and pounds throughout the state.
They rely on a dedicated team of animal-loving volunteers who pick up and sort through donated items and then organise distribution them to more than 100 rescue groups and pounds.
