Seniors in the City of Swan can now apply for help with essential services including grocery shopping, meals and transport to medical appointments.
The services are designed to help vulnerable community members while maintaining social distancing.
Seniors aged 65 and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged 50 and over are eligible.
City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey encouraged people to get in touch if they need help.
"Your health and safety is our top priority, and while we need to pause some of our usual community care programs, we’re still here to help throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
"Please contact us if you need help, even if it's not for essential services, and we can provide information or put you in touch with the right person for your needs."
