Roadworks approved for Gordonvale Woolworths devel

Council has approved $5 million in infrastructure works associated with the new Gordonvale Woolworths development.

The works will include the extension of Fisher Road to the Woolworths site at Draper Road, as well as construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Draper Road, (the new) Fisher Road, and a new road provided by the State Government associated with the Bruce Highway upgrade works.

Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads is set to start works on the Edmonton to Gordonvale section of the Bruce Highway upgrade, which includes the construction of a new road that will connect to Draper Road near the Woolworths development.

The works are expected to be completed in February 2021.
