New sewage pump station in Manunda

Council will invest almost $1 million for the relocation and construction of a new sewage pump station in Manunda.

Koppens Developments Pty Ltd has been awarded the $644,725 contract for relocation and renewal of the sewage pump station as part of the $996,000 project.

The current pump station, which was built about 50 years ago, is located on the north side of Birch St, Manunda, which is now considered a major road.

Hunt St, Manunda, has been identified as a more appropriate location for the new sewage pump station, which is due to be completed in December 2020.
