Electoral Structure Changes for 2020

Greater Dandenong Council’s new ward structure has been announced for the 2020 local government elections.

Under the new Local Government Act 2020, 10 councils will be changing their electoral structure for the 2020 elections. Greater Dandenong will change to 11 single member wards, which are yet to be officially named.

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) implements the new ward boundaries and ensures that each councillor represents roughly the same number of voters.
