From the Mayor - 14 May 2020

After our community’s successful effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 we are now seeing our local facilities and services being reopened in line with the latest public health orders.

Council will continue to monitor and respond to changes to NSW Government health orders and it is of paramount importance that we all still need to continue following physical distancing and hygiene advice when visiting Council areas and elsewhere.

Families will welcome the opportunity to once again visit children’s playgrounds and adults will be able to use outdoor exercise equipment in our beautiful environment. We can also look forward to the reopening of some face-to-face Council services with Customer Service set to reopen on Monday.

I hope this is just the first of our many facilities and services to be returned as we continue to adjust to and embrace a less restricted way of life.
