In accordance with Queensland Government's directive for the staged resumption of services, Community Halls and Centres will be re-open with restrictions from Monday 18 May 2020.
The following facilities across the region will re-open with operational hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday -Friday with restrictions as signed:
Glenden Recreation Centre (excluding after school and toddler programs until further notice) Moranbah Community Centre Dysart Civic CentreThe following facilities across the region will be re-opened to the public on an application basis:
Middlemount Community Clermont Civic Centre Nebo Memorial Hall Broadsound Centenary Hall Carmila Memorial Hall Clairview Community Centre Clarke Creek Community Centre Flaggy Rock Community Centre Ilbilbie Community CentreThe Dysart Recreation Centre and the Nebo Recreation Centre will remain closed to comply with Government Health Directives. Council will advise at a later date when these facilities will re-open.
All applications will be assessed on a case by case and need to be submitted during business hours a minimum of 48 hours prior to booking request time. When considering visiting any of the re-opened public facilities, please remember to adhere to all health and safety directives from Queensland Health as signed.
Physical distancing A minimum space of 1.5 metres between you and other people that aren’t from your household. Don’t exceed max group numbers as signed. STRONG HYGIENE PRACTICES Cough and sneeze into a tissue or into your elbow. Dispose of tissues in a hygienic manner. Hand washing with soap and water frequently for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser before and after any contact with hard surfaces such as computers or bench tops.
