Coffs Harbour City Council will reopen its Customer Service Centre in Castle Street to the public from Monday, May 25, and reinstate normal business hours 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Council’s Group Leader of Customer Services Jay Kirkman said that the easing of restrictions in NSW means we are now able to open the doors to the community once again.
“While restrictions are being eased, the message from the NSW Government is still that people should continue to use all the current hygiene and social distancing measures,” said Mr Kirkman.
“So we would encourage people to continue to use our online services where possible, rather than come into the building.
“Restrictions will be in place in the building to ensure the safety of our staff and customers including the use of portable Perspex screens at the front counter and hand sanitising stations. All customers will be expected to follow safe physical distancing and health advice by keeping 1.5m apart and maintaining personal hygiene by sanitising their hands. We would also ask people not to visit the Customer Service Centre if they are feeling at all unwell.”
