National Volunteer Week Winners 2020 18/05/2020 - 24/05/2020 Congratulations to all of the volunteers who were nominated for the National Volunteer Awards 2020. Thank you also to all of the volunteers in our community. Your service is greatly appreciated.This year's winners are Dannielle Murfet in the individual category, and The Exeter Show Society in the group category!
After the closure of her business at Beauty Point Service Station in 2019, Danielle took up the reigns as President of the Beaconsfield Primary School Association and is the Northern Delegate for TASSO. In this role, she put together a school fair in about 6 weeks that raised $6000 for the school and was a huge success as a social community event. She was also one of the founding members of Rascal Robot in Beaconsfield a not for profit art space for creative kids to learn and hang out. Congratulations Dannielle.
The Exeter Show is run by the Exeter Show Society Committee which has a base of volunteers all year round of between 6 - 8 people. A well known organisation in our community, with many other volunteers on show day who have to be organised and managed by the committee which is a huge job, but so rewarding. Congratulations to the Exeter Show Society for your hard work and dedication.
