Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) is calling for expressions of interest from performers and hospitality businesses to participate in Twilight events later this year.
Twilight is MAC’s successful series of live outdoor music performances held from October to March each year on the picturesque MAC lawns.
It’s a format which has proven a resounding success, providing a platform for local and aspiring local music acts to share their music with the community in a live setting.
And due to the ever increasing number of attendees at Twilight events, it’s generated strong demand for hospitality operators, such as food stalls and food vans.
Councillor for Arts and Culture Jason Modica said while the level of COVID-19 restrictions later this year was still to be determined, MAC was planning ahead to ensure Twilight is ready if restrictions allow.
“If restrictions are eased enough by the end of the year, Twilight will not only make a welcome return to our community’s live music scene, but could prove particularly helpful as the hospitality industry looks to recover,” Cr Modica said.
“Ideally, Twilight will be able to resume as planned during the spring and summer months and help support our local hospitality industry, including operators and their suppliers.”
Musicians, bands, groups and food service providers can submit an expression of interest now by visiting www.milduraartscentre.com.au and searching for ‘Twilight’. Simply download the expression of interest form and return it to the MAC team by emailing [email protected]
