Marrangaroo Dog Attack

Lithgow Council is pursuing action following attacks by a dog at Marrangaroo Fields. The dog most recently attacked a resident and caused significant injuries.

Immediately following the attack, the owner agreed to hand over the dog to Council. Council has asked the owner to show cause why the dog should not be declared a dangerous dog.

The dog owner is cooperating with Council in seeking to find a suitable resolution that will satisfy concerns in the community.
