From today, libraries across NSW are now able to open.
The Moree Community Library will be opening in coming days, which will include providing access to a small number of our public PC stations, subject to time limits, physical distancing and an increased cleaning regime.
Customers to Council spaces like the Moree Community Library will see some changes as we, like all businesses, implement social distancing and good hygiene practices for the health and wellbeing of our staff and library users. We are just putting together the finishing touches and ensuring some of our new equipment is in place so you can enjoy some of the services you love at the library.
When we open, it won’t be business as usual and our days and hours of operation will be different to normal. We’ll also need all patrons who come to the Moree Community Library to be a member so we can keep track of our on-site visitors.
So, there has never been a better time to become a member of Big Sky Libraries. It is easy to join by contacting us on 6757 3374 or online here .
In the meantime, while both the Moree Community Library and Mungindi Library remain closed, we are still here to help and you can contact us Monday to Friday on 6757 3374. You can also keep in touch by continuing to connect with us from home through our Big Sky Libraries website www.bsl.nsw.gov.au
We do very much look forward to the return of face-to-face library services. Our re-open date and any applicable conditions will be announced via our social media pages and website once we have met all government regulations.
