Mount Cannibal Reserve closed for car park works Published: 4 June 2020

Mount Cannibal Reserve will be closed on Tuesday 9 Wednesday 10, and Thursday 11 June for car park works.

The works are funded by Council and will increase the number of car parks from roughly 20 to 35 spaces. Wheel stops will also be installed and pavement will be strengthened to prevent drainage damage. No vegetation will be removed for the works to be completed.

The reserve will open again to the public on Friday 12 June.

Mt Cannibal was reopened to visitors following the Victorian Government’s easing of Coronavirus restrictions. The reserve is operating as a one-way track, to allow physical distancing of 1.5 meters to continue.

Community members are reminded that at all outdoor locations, Victorian Government regulations regarding recreation activities must be followed.
