New Child Safety Policy

Mosman Council has drafted a new Child Safety Policy, reaffirming its commitment to the safety of children.
The draft policy outlines Council’s approach to keeping children safe and articulates Council’s expectations of all those who provide services for children on behalf of Council, or who otherwise provide programs and activities for children at Council owned or controlled facilities.
At its meeting on 2 June 2020 Council resolved to place the draft Child Safety Policy on public exhibition, and following community comment, it will again be considered by Council and, subject to adoption, come into force immediately after.
The policy is now available for comment on Council’s online consultation hub yourvoicemosman.com.au, and submissions will be received up until Friday 3 July 2020.
