Isaac Regional Council advises that Twin Bridges, Lotus Creek Road is leased for private grazing purposes from the Queensland Government. Council has no trusteeship or custodian responsibilities for the land.
The site also functions as a watering and rest point for travelling stock on the stock route.
This function is built into the lease terms and Council has delegated authority to approve this only in exceptional circumstances.
Use of the land is at the discretion of Queensland Government and the lessee in the first instance.
This is something that is out of Council’s control and we ask that people respect the property rights of the landholder.
