Local-Is-More!

There has never been a better time to rethink how we support local businesses in our community and the Local-Is-More campaign is here to guide you.   The initiative, which aims to arm our community with tips, tricks and most importantly, reasons to support and choose local first, has come together as a combined effort between the Shire, the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Transition Margaret River.   Shire Sustainable Economy Officer, Saul Cresswell explains that the “choose local” concept is not something new, but remembering the benefits that thinking local brings to a small community like Augusta Margaret River is something that often gets lost when we’re going about our day to day lives.
