Register now for Burnie Shines 2020 - the 20th Anniversary!

If you are staging an event in Burnie between 1 October and 31 October 2020 and would like to have it included in the Burnie Shines festival program, then register now.

Burnie Shines links together many small to medium events to create an annual spring celebration. Drawing audiences from along the North West Coast, this festival is a unique mix of exhibitions, shows, events, performances and parties.

Burnie City Council Mayor Steve Kons said, “2020 is the 20th anniversary of the inception of Burnie Shines. Burnie Shines remains a key feature on the city’s events calendar and each year brings an exciting array of performances and events, with something to suit everyone. Burnie Shines is a wonderful example of what can happen when many small groups are brought together, and what results is a festival that the whole community can be proud of.”

This year’s program will be promoted online via the Burnie Shines website and social media sites.
