Councillors to catch-up with residents at Yeppoon Community Markets and Glenlee

All Councillors will also visit Glenlee Park on Saturday, 29 August from 1pm to 3pm and residents are invited to drop in for a catch-up.

“This will be a great opportunity for a catch-up with residents in an informal and friendly atmosphere,” Cr Ireland said.

“Council values the importance of talking to residents and hearing their ideas, stories or concerns they may have about particular issues in their locality.

“Councillors also plan to visit other localities across the Shire in coming months.”

For those who cannot make it but would like to share their suggestions or ideas, Council’s online Resident Reach programme also provides residents with the opportunity to connect with Council.

Residents can ask questions, share information about their locality and their ideas or tell stories about their local community.
