Planned hazard reduction burn: Rolleston

Central Highlands Regional Council is planning controlled hazard reduction burns in Rolleston on Saturday 27 June 2020, weather permitting.

Affected areas include, but are not limited to, the ring tank at Wongalee Street, Comet and Brown Street and the airstrip.

People in the area may see smoke and ash throughout the burns and are encouraged to take necessary precautions to protect themselves and their properties.

These hazard reduction burns form part of the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and Rural Fire Services Operation Cool Burn 2020.
