Upcoming works: water supply temporarily switched off in parts of Emerald

Water supply will be temporarily switched off in parts of Emerald as contractor Goodline completes replacement works on water hydrants and valves.
Impacted streets include Industrial Drive, Cotton View Road, Macaulay Road, Foundry Road and Hawkins Place.
These works will take place from Thursday 25 June to Friday 26 June 2020, and Thursday 2 July to Friday 3 July 2020.
Water outages will be between 10.00 pm and 4.00 am and may last up to 2.5 hours.
Affected households and businesses in this area have been notified via a letter box drop.
These works are part of a region-wide project to overhaul council’s water hydrants and valves.
This will not only provide reliable water access to firefighters and customers but save water.
