Libraries Re-open
Mareeba Shire Council 25 Jun 2020

Thank you to all the valued library members and the community for the support and patience shown over the last few months as we adjusted to COVID restrictions. Mareeba Shire Library branches have re-opened across the Shire.

The controlled and safe online and telephone assisted borrowing service was very popular and Council will continue this. Please contact your library branch to request help with reservations- or have the friendly staff reserve items for you. Reserved items will be packaged for you ready for collection from the relevant branch with no waiting time.

All libraries have re-opened for borrowing and also are offering newspapers, public computers and photocopying as well as the usual borrowing service.

Social distancing will remain in place across all branches and a COVID-Safe plan is in place.

Programs and activities will return as soon as it is safe to do so.
