Council will invest $105million in community infrastructure over the next twelve months to stimulate the local economy and provide the capital projects most valued by our community.

Sixty three million dollars will be spent on new and improved assets including new surfclubs, sports fields, playgrounds, and cycleways.

Ageing infrastructure costs ratepayers in the term long term so we’ll also invest $41million in our ongoing maintenance and asset renewal program to ensure we are keeping our existing buildings and other infrastructure in good condition.

We know that improving roads and footpaths is a priority so $12milllion will resurface 19km roads, renew 8km footpaths and build 8km of new ones.
