2020/2021 New Financial Year New Budget, 0% rate rise, No change to fees and chargesToday marks the start of the 2020/2021 financial year.
At our June Council Meeting, Council adopted the 2020/21 Estimates and Rates and Charges, setting out the budget summary for the new financial year.
This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we made a commitment for a 0% rate rise, as well as no change to the rates and charges, in order to assist in rebooting the community. Further details on what we're doing to assist the community can be found in our Community Care and Recovery Package.
