Livingstone Shire Council wishes to advise the community that regular services will return to the Yeppoon Lagoon and Keppel Kraken from midday tomorrow (July 3) to coincide with the Queensland Government’s easing of restrictions.

The current 20 swimmer limit at the Yeppoon Lagoon will be lifted and patrons will no longer be required to register before swimming at the facility.

However, the public is reminded to adhere to social distancing requirements of 1.5 metres, practise good hygiene and stay at home if unwell.

The Lagoon’s Change Village and Open Shower Area will remain closed but toilets are open.

The Lagoon’s winter hours are 8am-6pm.
